The Martini Foundation Launches With an Initiative Connecting Real Estate and Charitable Giving
Founded by Ashton Martini and Jonas Martini, Ph.D., the new foundation will support strong communities, education and discovery, and animal welfare
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HOUSTON, Texas — August 23, 2026
The Martini Foundation has officially launched with a mission to strengthen communities, advance education and discovery, and improve animal welfare through charitable giving, strategic partnerships and community engagement.
Founded by Ashton Martini and Jonas Martini, Ph.D., the Foundation is beginning its work with an initiative that connects charitable service with the Houston real estate community.
In partnership with Martini & Co. Real Estate Advisors, the Foundation's inaugural Charitable Property-Listing Initiative will select one eligible property for representation by the Houston-based brokerage. When the selected property sells, Martini & Co. Real Estate Advisors will donate its listing-side commission to an eligible charitable organization chosen by the property owner.
"This initiative brings together two important parts of my life: real estate and charitable service. It gives us an opportunity to use our professional work to generate meaningful support for a cause chosen by the property owner."
— Ashton Martini, Co-Founder and Co-Chair, The Martini Foundation
Turning a Property Sale Into Charitable Impact
Eligible property owners — or their legally authorized representatives — may submit a property for consideration between August 15 and October 15, 2026. Following the application and review period, one property will be selected for the initiative.
Properties must be located in Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend or Montgomery County. Complete eligibility requirements, application instructions, selection criteria and donation terms will be provided in the initiative's Official Program Rules.
The program gives the selected property owner an opportunity to direct the resulting donation toward a qualified charitable organization that reflects a cause important to them. By donating the listing-side commission, Martini & Co. Real Estate Advisors will transform a professional real estate transaction into direct support for charitable work.
The initiative also establishes a practical model for the Foundation's broader mission: bringing together professional relationships, community participation and responsible philanthropy to create measurable impact.
Three Areas of Focus
The Martini Foundation will initially concentrate its work in three principal areas.
- Strong Communities — supporting organizations that improve quality of life, strengthen neighborhoods and expand opportunities for individuals and families.
- Education and Discovery — investing in education, research, innovation and lifelong learning, with an emphasis on creating opportunities for future generations.
- Animal Welfare — supporting organizations dedicated to protecting animals and promoting their health, safety and compassionate care.
"We want to be a trusted philanthropic partner. Our commitment is to support organizations that are improving lives, advancing knowledge, protecting animals and creating opportunities for the future."
— Jonas Martini, Ph.D., Co-Founder and Co-Chair, The Martini Foundation
Together, the three focus areas reflect the Foundation's guiding commitment: Lead with integrity. Serve with purpose. Build a lasting legacy.
A Foundation Built Around Partnership
The Martini Foundation intends to advance its mission through charitable giving, partnerships and responsible stewardship. Its founders envision an organization that works alongside established nonprofits and community partners while developing initiatives capable of bringing new resources and attention to important causes.
Its first real estate initiative demonstrates how businesses and professionals can incorporate charitable impact into their existing work. Rather than separating philanthropy from professional activity, the program creates a direct connection between a successful property sale and a meaningful charitable contribution.
Martini & Co. Real Estate Advisors is led by Managing Partner Ashton Martini and provides professional real estate advisory, marketing and brokerage services in the Houston market.
Applications for the 2026 Charitable Property-Listing Initiative will be accepted from August 15 through October 15, 2026.
